Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GoldGetter website at goldgetter.app and the GoldGetter companion application (collectively, the “Service”), operated by GoldGetter (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use GoldGetter. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Description of the Service

GoldGetter is a third-party companion tool that reads World of Warcraft SavedVariables files to provide auction house analytics, price tracking, flip detection, and portfolio management. The Service includes an in-game addon, a desktop companion application, and a web dashboard.

GoldGetter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in the United States and/or other countries. Use of GoldGetter requires that you hold a valid, active World of Warcraft license and comply with Blizzard’s Terms of Use and End User License Agreement at all times.

4. Subscription Tiers & Pricing

GoldGetter offers the following subscription tiers:

Prices are in US dollars and are billed monthly. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Any price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

5. Payment & Refunds

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Refund policy: If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a prorated refund within 7 days of a billing charge. To request a refund, contact us at support@goldgetter.app. Refunds are issued at our discretion and will be calculated based on the unused portion of your billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid tier until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Blizzard’s Terms of Use
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service through automated means without our written consent
• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access or subscription benefits
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are abusing the Service. Examples of abuse include, but are not limited to:

• Automated scraping or excessive API usage
• Attempting to circumvent subscription restrictions
• Conduct that negatively impacts other users or the Service

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@goldgetter.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

8. Intellectual Property & Your Data

All rights, title, and interest in the GoldGetter Service (including its software, design, and branding) are owned by GoldGetter. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain full ownership of your game data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your game data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not claim ownership over any data originating from your World of Warcraft account.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of price data, profit calculations, or any other information provided through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoldGetter and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of in-game currency, items, or profits. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoldGetter and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email or through a prominent notice on the Service before the revised Terms take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms, you agree to be bound by them.
